Just wondering if it is normal for 3D objects to be "wobbly" with Pete's 2.9 GPU plugin, or if it is a setting I need to fix.

The effect can be seen in the battle sequences of FF VII, Chrono Cross, etc. The buildings and terrain seem to "wobble" as the camera moves around.

Is this something I can fix?

Using epsxe 1.7.0 and Pete's OGL GPU 2.9.

I suppose its normal. I checked out how it looks on a real ps1. It seemed to have same wobbliness, but not so noticable. I think the higher resolutions with emulation makes it a lot more noticable.

Not by normal means for sure. PS1 itself doesn't have Z buffer, so emulator just doesn't have anything to emulate here. Perhaps a good shader would work. Guest, what can you say? Is there any algorithm that can do this?

An plugin's shader for it? Those only work with the final image.

If it doesn't have a z-buffer then what does it have?

Other improvements were made like increasin internal X and Y resolution. Why the depth couldn' be increased?
