You've just released your first single... how's that feel?
James
Feels good, always scary though just have to wait and see !

it feels good to be workin out there promoting our new record and getting a reaction

Its been a really nervous time for us because it has been on our own label

my fave trak has got to be a track called 'times like these'

My fav song is probably "times like these." Its the first demko that we wrote so it means alot to us.

What's your inspiration for the songs on your album?
Mus
We tend to use quite a lot of real life experiences when we write our music. It comes across a lot better and much miore convincing
James
inspiration for writing comes from everyday life and we like to write about universal subjects that everyone can relate to.

album is due for release on the 27th of feb but were still debating weather or not to release another single.

mus thought of it as we were driving down friday hill in chingford

we didnt really have much other names in mind to be honest!!! but its actually a nane of a hill in the area we live at!

mus thought of it its a place in chingford

yeah hopfully this year we love it.

yeah hopefully by the end of the year,its the most enjoyable part of the job

Do you still talk to your old group Blazin Squad?

We will hopefully be touring by the end of the year. touring is probably one off the main highlghts of doing wot we do! ecspecially when we get the reactions you gave us at birmingham!!!
James
yeah we still talk to the boys and we are all good mates !

yeah we see them all the time out and about

we see the boys when we get a chance. we have been working quite a bit lately so havent been about but we phone each other qite a lot

What was it like performing at the BIG GIG 2005?
Kenzie
the big gig was amazing one of the best reactions we've had as a band
James
It was one of the best gigs u lot gave us a massive reaction so it was quality !

James and Mus, do you do any rapping on your album? Is it gonna thrill hip hop lovers?
Mus
the big gig was definatly one off the best Gigs we have dun to date it gave us a lot of confidence when performing, because it was one of the first friday hill gigs
James
yeah a little bit not much though i think hip hop lovers would be surprised !

Ha Ha hopefully!! yeah we have dropped a few lyrics for the hip hop heads

Do you three ever fight over which songs to release and what to call them?
James
nah we debate sometimes. Normally we name the song before write it so we never really fight over it.

na not really. we usually fight together against other people bout that sort of stuff but everything has been fine so far!!!!

there has been quite a few artists which have insipred us on this new album, mostly a lot of indie artists but back in the day was a lot of underground garage

If you could do a collaboration with any artist, who would it be?
James
I dont think that there is one artist in particular im influenced by alot of different stuff.

i think we'd rather collaborate with a producer someone along the lines of pharell

i would like to collaborate with quite a lot of artists, mainly to see how they work and pick up a few tips.

when you're writing a song, do you write the tune first or the lyrics first?
James
I dunno really maybe a famous producer like dre !
James
Normally the music first and then the lyrics second but sometimes we write music and lyrics at the same time.

usally the tune first james mite play a little riff on the guitar then we go from there

What advice would you give to some1 who wanted to be a singer or in a band
Mus
lately we have been starting with playing sum ideas on the guitar, then building the rest around that.

try develop your own style people love something thats different

the advice i wud give would be to never give up. a lot of people tend to judge without really looking into it properly if u nevet stop they have to listern one day!!!

Just be yourself and do the music that you wanna do also try and get some demos made and send them to all the labels. you can buy books with all the numbers and e mail adresses you need.
