Hi. I have a serious situation with a drive of CD-ROM with interphase USB (portable drive). Simply the plugins fail to see the drive and if they see it, no work . The emulator is ePSXe 1.6.0 .
I tried with "ePSXe CDR WNT/W2K core 1.5.2.", the drive appears, but when I insert the CD simply no boot.
I tried too with "P.E.Op.S. CDR Driver 1.4" and "SaPu's CD-ROM Plugin 1.0", the drive directly does not appear.
This looks very weird to me because all my PC is absolutely compatible with that USB's drive CDROM. XP detects the drive without drivers, PnP. Many programs of burning (Nero, Alcohol, etc) they recognize the drive correctly and of they can use without restriction. Too I have installed the "Aspi drivers v4.71.2".
Inclusively the motherboard's BIOS detects the drive and can boot with this trouble-free.
I do not understand which is the problem...

USB CDR's use neither IOCTL, or ASPI. only way is to make an image man.

To make a CD's image is much mess. I often to change game constantly and would have fill the hard disk needlessly, and too they take time in making themselves... It would have to there be a setting or plugin to allow the emulator to read the CD from the available drives in the operating system. If with Nero and Alcohol, in order not to mention others than too work, I do not understand because in an emulative no...
I have the sensation that the problem is a foolish thing to say... only have somebody find it...
