I have a bunch of updates since the last time I posted here. Stopped posting since the new board was going to be up...oh well might as well post here now. Sorry to hear about the servers.
I have 2 threads at RCU. One has the Matotoys metal track set that was referenced by someone else here as being sold by Torro. It it the exact same set. Everything is stamped Torro. Check it out here: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_3886750/tm.htm
I originally asked for advice and help painting my tank. It has turned out to be more of a progress report on my tank and an inquiry for updating that I may need help with. Check it out here: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_3795014/tm.htm
Now here is where I need help. While mocking it up for the picks in the TRacks thread I noticed that I had broken off some wires that go to the turret. There is a white, a black and 2 reds. I can give the location of them from the connector that bolts to the underside of the upper hull if that helps anyone help me.
I also ordered an airsoft barrel from Ebay. I'm a little upset with the seller though because it will not ship until Friday 2/17. I won the auction on 2/4. I will most likely end up leaving him neutral or negative feedback for the amount of time it is taking him to ship it. That is holding me up from reassembling my tank and playing.
I still also have to affix the muzzle side of the barrel to the extension I made, might have to use a bushing inbetween the inner and outter barrel as there is not enough material between the two barrels for the epoxy to grip. Of course rewire some things (that I need help with). install a charge switch and charge jack, convert to Deans plugs, and cut open the rear engine grate (like Stern did to his), and finish painting.
I also need a little help on the switch for the charging jack. Can anyone recomend a switch that can handle a 5 amp load for charging. I was going to use one from HObbico like the charging jack on my Savage, but Hobbico recommended that I not put more than 1.5 amps through that switch. I charge my Venom 30000nimh pack at somewhere between 3.5 and 5 amps depending on how long I want the charge to last. If anyone can help with the wiring and switch please chime in. Thanks

Take a look at mine Stern, the ones circled are the ones I need to know where they go to. I am calling the one on the left number one.
I need to know where they go.
