Why is ogl2 only able to use shaders with the name gpuPeteogl2? And where can I get some info on developing shaders?

One can use only one shader at the time.
It could be easier to reference a file with a constant name then set the path/filename from the plugin. To store different shaders one has to put them in seperate directories.

Hi bluesnaketree,
good start is:
oss.sgi.com/projects/ogl-sample/ registry/ARB/GLSLangSpec.Full.1.10.59.pdf
then you can download a free tool called "OpenGL® Shading Language Demo" with tons of examples from 3dlabs site:
developer.3dlabs.com/openGL2/downloads/index.htm
You can also buy a book called "OpenGL® Shading Language" (orange book) from:
www.aw-bc.com/catalog/academic/product/0,1144,0321197895,00.html
