Traveling through the country
my sword at my side
I pass forests of green and streams of blue.
On a journey of business
but no horse to ride
I still need one more day or two.
When out from the trees steps a man
his hunger for gold it is great.
My money he firmly demands
so I begin to draw my own blade.
Refrain:

it's steel against steel.
It's your fate on the edge of a blade.
It's the song of the sword
it's the dance to survive.
Sing it with passion,
sing it for your life.
The crowd begins cheering around us
as we step into the sand strewn round.
It's the tourney to honor both land and king.
The country's bravest of knights
ready to combat and joust for hours.
The bards our greatness surly will sing.
Then the princess signals the start.
Great honors the vict'ry will bring.
I reach for my sword and my heart
and step into the combat's ring.

The ground begins to tremble
as the adrenalin begins to rise.
This day will decide about many lives.
Two armies ready to clash.
Rage hanging in the air.
Two epic masses about to collide.
Horses, soldiers, and knights.
Armies approaching each other.
The swords are readied for the fight.
Now the blade is closer than a brother.

Braucht insgesamt wohl noch ein wenig Feinschliff, aber im Großen und Ganzen darf's das von mir aus sein.
