I was busy to finish my "non-logical" shader.

Also took a glimpse at your (and Chris's) joint shader and i must admit it is of quite good quality.

Have you looked at C2D, too? Because it's quiet a bit faster than the "Joint-Venture" and looks really nice, too (more smooth in my eyes).

The C2D can look nicer in some situations and you can combine both shaders with the fullscreen smoothing. So i would not dare to say which effect is better on the 2D part.

That could leave some open room for further improovements -> to code a interpolation-transposition shader instead of interpolation shader only.
