I can't get this to work I put the Vertex stuff in a .vp file and the Fragment stuff in the .fp file, correct? I keep getting a vertex error and a fragment error about line 0 or something like that.

Earlier you said, "Use only one of the vertex files. If you use High X and Very High Y resolutions use the second vertex file.

Ah, this shader works best when the internal resolutions are set at least to high and with 2xSaI textures. The display resolution also has to be at least 1024x768 (recommended 1280x960 or 1152x864)."

My laptop is widescreen, so if I were to run on a 1280x960 the picture would look strange. In order to get a "normal" picture I would have to run on a 1280x800. Is that a high enough display resolution, or do I have to increase the resolution even more. My laptop's display resolution caps out at 1680x1050.

thank you

p.s. I prefer to run on high x and very high y

I never found 'Keep PSX aspect ratio' to be very useful until now.

thanks again

p.s. whenever I try to run programs in 1280x960 the height of the picture extends too far and some of the picture ends up missing...the same thing happens when I try to run programs using 1280x768 except in this case it involves the width and not the height. it's not that big a deal since I have 16 different resolutions to choose from but it is still wierd.

My computer lags when I run over 1024x768

I discovered this when I downloaded new ati drivers from http://www.omegadrivers.net/ and noticed that my fps in the top right corner was like 8 fps slower than when i ran it in 1152x864.

I guess that solves my dilemma concerning which resolution to run this shader in
