Reading through the threads on this board I found something that cought my interest:

It seems some people found a way to make this board's shaders work with other console emulators.
Here are two examples:

Does anybody have more information about this?
Does it really work or is it just experimental?
I don't know if these people share their work (which I would highly appreciate), where it can be found or how it works.
Maybe we can put together a list of emulators supporting the shaders?

As far as I am aware, RBelmont did get it working in his build of MAME. I think it was just a test he did though, and that it was either not released or was pulled from the next and subsequent versions.

As for BSNES, I don't think it's using OpenGL shaders to achieve its effects, and is rather using custom functions to do it. I could be wrong (as I've not really used BSNES or followed its development very closely). The developer (byuu) would be your best bet for answers on that, most likely. I know he kicks around at the romhacking.net forums, so you could probably get more info from him over there.

I contacted DarkDancer of Gens32(the genesis/Mastersystem/32x/segacd emulator) about using pixel shaders...he has implimented a render plugin system and says that hes working on pixel shaders.
