Since it was the first time for Aineas and me to see the new cast on stage, I kinda feel like writing a review...

Sean as Valjean:
Very different to those JVJ's I've seen before. I know he's a blues singer and I love him for that. But his JVJ kinda didn't get through to me. Love you Sean, you're just not my kinda type for JVJ. There was too much breath in the songs, which sometimes makes it hard to understand the lyrics, and the acting was a bit too much...

Joanna as Fantine:
Brill as always...

Oliver as Enjolras & Matt as Grantaire:
Loved them! Matt was brill as Grantaire. He blew me away with his acting and singing. Oliver and Matt are stunning in that combination of roles...

Gemma as Eponine:
I loved Sophia's Eponine, even though I know Gemma since the TAC. She's lovely to see as 'Ponine, but I noticed that she sometimes didn't hit the right note during ALFOR. Though her acting skill in that role was great...

Gary as Marius:
I don't know how to say that...Gary was too loud during AHFOL (Reprise). Well maybe it was just his microport which was too loud, but you hardly could hear Lydia during that song...
And I still think, he's not the best choice for a first cast Marius. Well that's what I think and noone has to like it...Gary's a really nice guy (you are, Gary, don't get me wrong), I just don't like him as Marius...

Nicolas as 'Parnasse:
Love him. He's so cute and him acting with Eponine was very good...

Ian as Joly:
Jesus, he's amazing. I've never had so much fun, watching Joly.

Daniel as Feuilly:
Brill as always! I just can't understand why he's doing the old man during MOTH. He so doesn't look old, even with the wig and costume.
