The PS1 have some problem with the poligons, that problem can be found im any others consoles (principally hand consoles) like Ngage or Nintendo DS, because the 32 videocard the poligons sometime desapear im some angles or change they posiions, the ask is, perhaps we can make the games don't do this poligonal problem, probably yes, but what we can do to get this result? I think it's about the 3d models... flickering on PSX emulators. But, that's how the PSX worked... without Z buffer. Signature ![]() | ||||

Would it be theoretically possible not to try to fix this problem afterwards in the emulator plugin, but to fix it before it happens rewriting the game code itself? | ||||

on a practical point, no its not ossible, you would need to add depth bits to each texture. | ||||

The N64 custom texturing does only that, reads external textures instead of the internals. The N64 alrady has z-buffer, wich the PSX lacks. Signature ![]() | ||||
