First of all, thanks for new OGL2-plugins.
If there is coming a new release for ePSXeCutor, specially for ePSXe 1.7.0, there is something you could think about adding to this great frontend:
1) A small bug found (maybe): For newest ePSXe it seems that ePSXeCutor cannot save pad-configs every time correctly. I made special keyboard configs for Quake II and then came back to fix old configs. Apparently, pad2 settings had been somehow copied to pad1 settings. When I corrected them, they were corrected to all other configs as well and also my Quake II pad configs were overwritten, except pad1 was still configured as digital.
2) Why not to add support for multiple ID:s for those games that have many CD:s. This is something I (and maybe others) miss from Delta. No need for making new configs for every single CD.
3) This is for Betamax (if he ever gets here): If there are multiple configs for one game CD, can you make a config selector for AutoQuickStart-tool (similar to Delta's)?
4) Nothing important: "Auto-arrange icons by name"-option?
Thanks.

Solution for your first issue:
- Start ePSXeCutor (of course)
- Select/create the game config where you want to change the pad settings
- Choose "Quick configure" (main menu or right-click popup menu)
- Click the tab "Options"
- Click on the button "Start ePSXe for pad configuring"
- ePSXe GUI will start. Go and configure your pad in it. Close ePSXe.
- Close the ePSXeCutor "Configure" window with the "OK" button
Done. Now this game configuration stores all the configured pad settings correctly. They will be activated each time you start the game with ePSXeCutor.

Thanks for reply.
Very strange. I followed the steps exactly as stated.
Normal gamepad configs were saved, but not those keyboard configs. I esported all the configs as registry files and had a look. Quake II keyboard configs had saved normal gamepad settings instead of newly mapped settings.
Problem is temporarily solved by manually copying keyboard settings from my old Delta configs to registry files and then importing them to ePSXeCutor.

mmm... you are right, it seems that ePSXe is storing the pad settings in an unexpected way. Therefore the old ePSXeCutor cannot copy this settings into its game configurations, so the pad settings are globally the same for all configs.
I will take a closer look soon.

Hi, Pete!
I also confirm the PAD incompatibility between ePSXe 1.7.0 and the ePSXeCutor program.
I was using ePSXeCutor 1.0.6.3 before, and it is really a great and handy tool, Pete.
But it looks like the programmers of the new ePSXe release have changed some of the registry keys and inputs regarding the key configuration for the gamepads, and ePSXeCutor now no longer sets the proper key configuration/settings to the emulator upon starting the game. The last key configuration set in the emulator remains active for all games.
The new emulator is great, now all of my games work great. Before, I had to use different ePSXe version for a specific game. But now they all run.
It would be great to once again have this really cool tool for configuring and running games, especialy when it comes from the author and coder of such great ePSXe plugins such as yourself.
I hope you'll manage to find some time and release a new version of ePSXeCutor soon.
Best regards, Pete!
