Hi! I'm Nepth, and I like your plugins very much. ^^ they're the best.
Now, you know, I bought this Final Fantasy X game, becuz I just love it, but I don't have a PS2 (way too expensive). And it works more-than-fine at my friend's ps2, and it also works in my PCSX2 emulator (only if I use YOUR cdvd driver). BUT, however, it is too slow, and I mean it. FPS is 10 to 12. And I wanted to know how can I make it run at least a little faster? My computer is a Pentium 4, Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 2, CPU 2.80GHz, 256 Mb RAM, about 40Gb HD, GEForce 4, Directx 9. The configs for pcsx2 (0.7) Graphics plugin are: Fullscreen Resolution (1024x768), Windowed Resolution (640x468), Enable Recording off, Display FPS Counts on, Use Frameskip on, Use FullScreen off, Disable Stretching off, Screen Filtering (disabled), Enable Texture Caching off, Texture Cache Size (64); and the CDVDROM configs are: Interface (Wind2K/XP - IOCTL scsi commands), Drive (1:0:0 Drive D, Caching Mode [tried all already] (Read ahead), Use additional 4 MByte data cache off, Try to limit speed off, Don't wait until drive is ready on, Check tray state off, Try again on reading error on (3), Show message box on reading error off.
I'd be very very grateful if you can answer me, thank you very much. bubbye ^^

Newer version will probably add more compatibilty and perhaps even less speed. Perhaps extensive use of goodies like HT, SSE2, SSE3 (or 3DNOW! with AMD) and a 64bit version would bring much better performance.
