Hi, I'm trying to play a psx game in the epsx emulator (Resident Evil:directors cut) but I get two errors messages when I try to run the game. The first one is:

gpuPeteOpenGL2
---------------
Missing pbuffer extension!

and the second error I get:

gpuPeteOpenGL2
--------------
Missing render-texture extension!

Can somebody tell me the problem and what plugin I need to run the game correctly. Mi videocard is a SiS M650 (yeah, I know it sucks but I dont have money to buy a new one )

Any help will be appreciated, thanks

Use different gpu plugin (D3D or the SoftGPU plugin).

thanks for the advice, I downloaded those plugins and the game is working but I have another problem: the game runs incredibly fast!!

Is there any way to 'slow down' the game? Its impossible to play it because it's very fast.

Sorry for asking too much, but I'll really appreciate if someone can help me out. Thanks

ok, this is the deal:

with the softGPU plugin the game runs too fast (extremely fast!)

with the D3D plugin the game is running fine now, BUT the shadow of the characters are not black, they are white. The same goes with the cinema borders (in the original game they are black but for some reason is white with this plugin) and the zombies blood is white (it has to be red)

Any ideas of what the problem is? I took a screenshot to explain it better, here it is:

pictures.greatestjournal.com/userimg/1666194/446710

the red lines show the 'errors' Im getting. They are supposed to be black, not white.

Thanks in advance

Well, i can give you some advice regarding the speed of the emulation.

In the plugin config window make sure you have the 'Use FPS limit' checkbox checked. A bit left are two radiobuttons. There you can specify some more stuff about FPS limit (select 'AUTO detect FPS...' if in doubts).

The soft plugin running too fast???
Play a bit with the stretching and dightering options (plugin interface window) and see what happens.
