Hi people.

I have a problem with this SPU when I demand to the limit the GPU .
I began to try the game Soul Blade (or Sould Edge), in the Rock 's Stage with the smaller quadrangle, and see than in moments the music deforms himself and "skip sound frames". Then I deactivate the XA speed and music I stop deforming myself, but continued skip sound frames. I perceive that the SPU not fix of provided and readable form the continuity of music when the game starts to descend of speed.
I tried with Eternal SPU and this works correctly, when the FPS reduce music this listens to low speed itself but it streams fully.

Does somebody know that I have to do settings of options in order that music stream fully when the FPS come down from the GPU, in PEOpS Dsound? Or is it a problem of the this SPU?

use EternalSPU 1.41, its more accurate.

I was using EternalSPU 1.41, but this plugin presents incompatibility with the savestates of ePSXe . On the other hand, this seems to presenting incompatibility with Metal Gear Solid, I tried all the configurations and not synchronize the game well, neither in SPUasync mode

most of the spu plugins to not reinit the sound when you load a save state.

PEOpS Dsound does not have problems with the savestates, recover the sound perfectly.
Eternal plugin is an excellent SPU, but you lose the sound with the savestates in various games and this is irrecoverable. In MGS, directly it is bad, without using savestates.
If PEOpS Dsound sync the sound to a slower speed instead of skip it, would be the perfect SPU for ePSXe . This SPU does not have more problems than that one.
Thereby, I asked because thought that it could get fixed by means of configurations.

Not always... Some games are better with the PEOpS SPU. Specifically, I seem to recall some Saga Frontier sound effects are completely wrong in Eternal, but play seemingly fine in PEOpS. The reverse is also true for other games (i.e.: Eternal works better)... so, it ends up a matter of trial and error to determine which of the 2 SPUs is actually "better" for any given game.

any game that has an issue in Eternal usually just requires a small amount of tweaking to get working correctly.
