PAL = 25 fps interlaced = 50 half frames at second NTSC = 30 (29.98) fps interlaced = 60 half frames at second. Bu if you try, for example, Tekken3, fraps show 50 fps PAL and 60 fps NTSC... Bye

but if i understand you, the psx emulator is generating 25 or 30 real fps (like i am seeing with fraps in MGS or GT2 and more games) in spite of pete's plugin it showing 50 or 60 fps....
It makes sense that 2Hz -> 1fps if is interlaced
so i dont understand you when you say that in tekken3 fraps may show 50/60 fps.
i think that pete's plugin may shows 50/60fps but the real fps measured with fraps may been 25/30...
isn't it?

Seleuco, that has been explained in the gpu docs (readme.txt or version.txt, can't remember) a couple of times.
Short explanation: years ago I did display the real "PC fps" number. The result was: nobody did know if his game was running at the "correct" speed, since some games need 25 FPS, some need 30 FPS, some 50, or 60, or 37.5, or 20, or or or.
So I decided to display the PSX vsync rate, the "PSX fps". With it, the right speed is always 59.9 for NTSC games, and 50 FPS for PAL games. Sure, not every "PSX frame" will be a "PC frame" (so FRAPS will display a different rate), but nevertheless it's much cleaner that way.

i realized that....
...but i only wanted know if the real psx is able to generate more than 25/30 real fps or it is limitated by the interlaced framerate...
for example... if a developer knows that the pal system only shows 25 real fps, why i go to generate 50 fps... the question is... is this a psx limitation or a developer limitation? and what sense have generate more than the pal/ntsc framerate...
