Um dieses softe Thema (dessen Moderator ich immerhin bin...) auch mal wieder in Schwung zu bringen, habe ich mein CD-Regal durchforstet und 50 Titel zusammengestellt, die ich leider viel zu selten auf- bzw. einlege, aber nach wie vor zu dem Besten auf diesem Gebiet gehören

.........ich bin ja auch ein alter Sack, aber dennoch sind auch bei Deiner Auflistung wunderschöne Scheiben dabei,........meine neueste Smooth/Mellow Entdeckung ist übrigens

Ich habe mich bei meinen 50 Titeln ausschließlich auf diejenigen beschränkt, von denen ich das Original-Album im Regal habe (außer die beiden Soundtracks - habe ich leider "nur" als Maxi-CD).

Die ganzen genialen Sampler-Serien von "damals", wie
- Expansion Soul Sauce
- Expansion Phat Jams
- Inside
- Movin' On
- Soul Chasers
- Soul'd Together
- Classic Mellow Mastercuts
und und und...
habe ich nicht berücksichtigt, obwohl diese auch diverse Schätzchen enthalten, von denen ich wohl auch gerne das Original-Album hätte!!!

Als ich meine Liste fertig hatte, fiel mir selbst auf, daß unheimlich viele Titel aus den Jahren + - 1991 stammen...

Und dann erinnerte ich mich, daß es damals im britischen Radio (BFBS?) jeden Donnerstagabend eine ein- oder zweistündige Sendung gab, in der ausschließlich diese Musik gespielt wurde. Mir fallen aber beim besten Willen weder der Name der Sendung noch des Moderators ein?!?

Ich weiß nur, daß ich jeden Freitag danach beim Saturn in Köln war und von fast jedem gespielten Titel dirket das ganze Album gekauft habe (mein Portemonnaie fand das damals nicht so lustig - ich bereue es bis heute nicht...)!

Ach was würden wir alle ohne Musik machen.
Das tolle ist doch,das man jeden Tag wieder einen neuen Lieblings-Song hat oder?.Ich mache wöchentlich einen neuen Sampler und stoße immer wieder auf gute ALTE & NEUE Songs von Anno Dazumal bis Heute.
