weiss ich nich der bruder müsste eigtnlich glaub ich genau so alt wie steven und so sein also 17 da kann der ja nich 11 sein ich weiss es aber auch nich ich hab den bruder auch noch nie gesehn

ja find ich auch so ich guck mal wo ich des her bekomm!

ich habs:

when i was 11,my mum announced she was going to have a baby.The doctors had told her she couldn't have any more kids,so she was over the moon.And so were me and Dad.I was so chuffed to be getting a little brother or sister!

We all prepared ourselves for the new arrival.Then Mum went into labour and was taken to hospital...and that was the last time i saw her alive.Mum never woke up from the anaesthetic.

Dad explained to me later that Mum's blood pressure just got higher and higher-and they also discovered a tumour on the back of her spine.Luckily the baby,my little brother Alex,was born perfectly healthy.

Because i was an only child before Alex was born,i was especially close to my mum.We were always going for walks together in the forest oppposite our house,or going for picnics in Hyde Park.she loved nature and being outside and i'm exactly the same.I was very dependant on Mum and i told her everything...we had such a strong bond.

The day she died i went into total,I got home from the hospital and didn't know what to feel or what to do.I spent the next few weeks crying alone in my room.The nights were terrible, i just couldn't accept i'd never see her again.My dad was finding it really hard to cope as well,so i had to spend a lot of time looking after my brother.

In the end i decided to go to bereavement counselling.If anyone reading this is trying to cope with the death of a loved-one,i'd recmmend they do the same.It's just so good to talk about how you feel.Once you get your emotions out in the open you feel a lot better.It stops you bottling your grief up.

A few years ago i got a tattoo of a crucifix on my back with Mum and her name Susan.I don't visit her grave as often as i'd like to because i'm often away from home.But i've still got loads of pictures of her,and i've kept things to remind me of her.I've even got a big bookcase in my room with all her old books in. I do a lot of reading,and i was always good at english at school.i think it was because she was always reading to me.

These days i don't really talk about mum's death.It was seven years ago, and i've learnt to deal with it.The more time passes,the more you accpet things.You don't ever forget the person,but you realise it's happened and nothing can change that.You've just got to remeber the good times and hold onto them.And you've got to be strong.I think Mum would be proud of me.She wouldn't want me to be crying and worring that she's not here.I think she'd hope i'd make a success of my life-and i have.
