Hello all.

I have found a simple way to record games on linux using recordmydesktop and pulseaudio.

I want to compile the ALSA SPU from Sourceforge, but I haven't a clue as to how to compile. It's a little different from what I know (./configure, make, make install). I see a Makefile, and when I use the make command, it shows:

gcc -fPIC -c -Wall -mpentium -O3 -ffast-math -fomit-frame-pointer spu.c
cc1: error: unrecognized command line option "-mpentium"
make: *** [spu.o] Error 1

Anyone know the correct procedure to make the Alsa sound plugin?

Replace -mpentium with -m32 (or -m64 if you somehow have 64bit emulator). Also you must uncomment ALSA flag string in the Makefile, otherwise plugin will be compiled with OSS support instead.
