I'm running epsxe 1.7, with Pete's openGL2. I looked through some of the previous topics, tried running it on epsxe 1.5.2, and I made sure the odd/even bit hack was on, but that didn't help.

The intro, menus, battles, and movies run fine at 60fps, but it drops down to 20fps when I'm running around outside battle. Some of the smaller rooms run at 60fps though.

I've played around with the video settings, but whether it's high resolution, with nice smoothed character animations,or low resolution, with blurry, pixelated characters, the frame rate is consistently around 20fps.

I've only encountered problems with Chrono Cross. Other games, like FF9, run well at a constant 60fps.
