BIOGRAPHY (2005)
GORYPTIC is born in September 2005 and takes over from Heresy because the members have decided to change their name further to the coexistence of several bands called Heresy. The line up remains unaltered. To get more information about Heresy and its past, check out Heresy’s biography.

This symbolizes an evolution of the band regarding the style too, more brutal death metal. Currently GORYPTIC is working on new stuff and starts play live again. The band shared the stage with Mesrine and will participate at the Skull f**ked Fest this year.

Under the name of Heresy, GORYPTIC members have made lot of gigs in France (Valenciennes, Lille, Calais) and in foreign parts (Mountains of Death in Switzerland in 2004) and played with bands like Spawn of Possession, Sinners Bleed, Disgorge (Mex), Sanatorium, Despondency, Hour of Penance, Stump f**king, Trepan Dead, Byatis (RIP) Disgust...

They have also recorded a split CD « Trepan Dead VS Heresy » in 2002, and then a MCD « Psychotic Carnage » in 2004 which enables them to appear on several compilations.

GORYPTIC will be on tour this summer with ETERNAL BLEEDING from slovakia. The band will feature on great fests such as the Brutal Assault, the Mountains of Death, the Red Alert OA or the Sziget Fest.
A new tour is also scheduled in November with INFEST from France. This time we will blast in France, Spain and Portugal!!

Trash (HxCxF / ex Evict) becomes the new bass player of GORYPTIC. The first gig will take place in Lille with Destinity, Genital Grinder & more. In the upcoming months, GORYPTIC will get the chance to share the stage with Belphegor at the Stonehenge fest (Netherlands) in July and then with Incantation and Vomitory in September at the Beuken Op Zondag Fest in Netherlands as well.
