Hey, I'm new to the boards and I came here bc I need some assistance, most of it is in german... but this is the best place I know to ask you guys for some help...

Now I'm not sure if it's been asked b4, but why I use the shader effects, it says "missing file extensions" when I run a CD/ISO... On top of that when I use the pixel shader for 'PSX texture window' emulation, the whole emulater will crash after it displays the "missing file extensions"... As long as I don't select the shader for PSX texture... It'll still display the game, however without the shader... I'd like to know how to get either or to work... more so the shader effects...

and to fill in some info... I use ePSXe 1.6.0, my video card is an ATI Radeon 9250... and I did download the shaders on the main page and put them in a folder called "shaders" and did set the directory to there... just doen't seem them I guess

If you need me to post up any more info I will... sorry for the stupid question... but ya know... It's a pretty desperate situation for me... the OpenGL makes the games... a little choppy, without some kind of a shader to filter that... so please guys, help a good man out... thanx

I just am writing to say that I am having this problem as well, it says "Missing GLSlang extensions". I would really like to try out some neat pixel shaders. I am using Petes OPENGL2 GPU Plugin, and I have an NVIDIA GeForce FX Go 5600.

That error means that the video cards you're trying to run the shaders on doesn't have support for them. I think you need at least either a GF4 Ti4200, 5200 Vanilla/Ultra, or an ATI Radeon 9600 Pro. Although I'm not sure on all of those. The 5600 Go should work, unless it's been stripped of some or all of its shader extensions.

Theres no way... I contacted the manufacturer of my computer... In which I got this card from... They said this issue is compatible with OpenGL2... So that can't be it...

ATi Radeon 9250 256MB Video Memory is better than a NVidia 5600 and it is compatible... this has a four pixel rendering pipeline! which means I support pixel shading up to PS 4.0

This also includes DirectX (all) and OpenGL, OpenGL2...
