Ich, als totaler Sean/Lijah Fan, habe diese Stellen ja verschlungen 
Es gibt sowieso sooo süße Zitate der beiden über den anderen. hab mal irgendwann angefangen, die zu sammeln. Bin aber irgendwann nicht mehr hinterher gekommen 
Ich glaub, die 2 lieben sich eh...die ganzen Bilder, wo sie sich umarmen und knuddeln...zu süß

Ich poste einfach mal ein paar Zitate hier.
Und was die Bilder angeht, ich habe mehrere hundert Bilder von Sean und Elijah zusammen. Bin da ein echter Geek. Aber ich weiß nicht, ob ich heute dazu komme, ein paar davon zu posten. Können ja unter Fotos nen Sean/Elijah-Ordner aufmachen 
Aber hier erst mal die Zitate:
Sean Astin:
"We lived and worked so closely together that he became more like a brother than a fellow actor. I came to feel as protective of Elijah as Sam does of Frodo. In turn, Elijah helped me discover a lot about myself and I literally might not have survived the journey had this young prince of an actor not taken me under his wing!"

Sean: I spent many hours staring into his eyes. I mean hundreds of hours staring into Elijah's eyes. It actually looks like, if you look really close, it looks like an eclipse. The pupil has gone in front of the sun and from behind the dark pupil are like, rays of gold light coming through the pools of blue water."

Question: You and Elijah go through an incredible bonding through the films — in real life did you really become great friends?
There's a number of anecdotes — when I was in New York, he let me stay in his apartment. When he was in the hospital, I called and checked on him. On September 11th, after I called my immediate family, I wanted to found out what happened with him, and he was on a plane that had left just before the four planes out of the same airport, and his plane got diverted to Tennessee. So I talked with him for a long time from there. It's funny because, it's not like we need to see each other all the time, he has his own life and I have my wife and kids and everything else. But there's this sense that we're family and we think about each other and we check in on each other and we hope each other is doing well, and we see each other every 10 minutes doing Lord of the Rings stuff anyway. I think we'll permanently be friends — we shot for half a decade together.

Report: When Sean first went on stage he opened his speech with 'I can't carry it for you but I can carry you, Saturn' talking to the award.
He talked about Elijah, he said 'It's about time he'd be recognized for his amazing work, as he was only 18 when he went to NZ to be part of this production and basically was the one to carry the film', Sean also said how amazing he thinks Elijah is and how much he loves him, leaving the stage he shouted Elijah!"
As Sean said "It was about damn time!"
Sean made a cute speech about Elijah saying how he was the real spirit of the film and it wasn't Sam as some have said in the past, he says Elijah has been an inspiration, and then he went on about how Elijah gets it, he gets the fans and the whole toy thing, basically called him a geek and then said he is gonna be proud to hand the award personally to Elijah...
Sean Astin accepted his award for Best Supporting Actor, the only member of the LORD OF THE RINGS team who was able to show up. He also accepted Elijah Wood’s Best Actor award since Elijah is in England finishing up work on his soccer hooligan drama THE YANK. Both speeches he gave were articulate and heartfelt, and his love for Elijah came through loud and clear. “He gets this... all of this. He was the first one to open my eyes to this entire world of imagination. I have forgotten at certain points in my life just how powerful the imagination can be, but LORD OF THE RINGS reminded me of it, and Elijah more than anyone.”

Q: How do you feel about Sean Astin possibly getting an Oscar nomination for his role?
ELIJAH: The man deserves it. It’s an incredible, tour de force performance. He’s absolutely brilliant. He deserves anything he gets. He makes me cry so many times and he’s so wonderful to work with and a dear friend. I support him, I want everything for him.

Sean: "He's got this big beautiful eyes but he can't see two feet in front of him in broad daylight."

Sean: "And actually when I saw Elijah, he saw me and he went, 'Hey!' and I went, 'Oh! Let's go over there.' We walked over to this spot on the floor on the lobby and I was like, 'Do you know where we are?' and he goes, 'Oh!' We were standing on the exact spot where we first met, five years before. And I said, 'I just wanted to have this moment. This is it, man. We've come full circle.'"

Elijah: Good old Sean Astin. Yeah, we became like brothers in this movie. That relationship you see onscreen is very much the relationship that we had. He would help me, I would help him – I don't think I've ever become so close with someone and had to spend so much time with someone over such a long period of time. It was amazing. Literally half the movie experience was spent with Sean. The relationship you see and our performances are informed by that.

Dann hatte ich noch irgendwo nen Report von Mardi Gras. Find ich aber nicht.
Jedenfalls wurde Elijah von den Veranstaltern angerufen und nach Seans Telefonnummer gefragt. Elijah hat sie aber erst rausgerückt, als man ihm versprach, dass er zusammen mit Sean zu Mardi Gras kommen durfte.
Bei der Mardi Gras Party hat Elijah sich total zurückgehalten, weil es Sean's Party sein sollte.
Zu später Stunde und schon recht angetrunken, stand Sean mit seiner Tochter Ali auf der Bühne und sang "Can't help falling in love with you". Dabei liefen ihm Tränen übers Gesicht.
Elijah stand am Rand der Bühne und hat sich das gerührt angesehen. Als Sean fertig war, sprang Elijah auf die Bühne, küsste Sean und Ali und ging wieder. Am Rand der Bühne drehte er sich um und sagte "I just wanted to say that's why I love you" *schmelz*
Und hier noch ein süßer Satz, den Miranda Otto über Elijah sagte: ‘Elijah has the innocence of a child, the
wisdom of a ninety-year old man, and
the grace of an angel…’
