I just bought a new pc with a DVDRW/CDRW combo drive and sadly found out that when i try to play my epsxe it crashes upon "auto detect" with the P.E.Op.S. CDR driver 1.4, and really any other cd rom driver i may try. I obviously do not have any problems with my old pc.<br>I realise that they are cd rom drivers and was hoping they would work with my dvd combo.<br><br>So do i have to buy a cd rom just to play my games with your drivers or is there a way?<br><br>Thanks,<br>Bri64

no, the plugin will work with DVD drives as well, if they can do at least one of the plugin's raw read modes.

If "autodetect" fails, you have to manually try every read mode yourself. If none of them will work, the only thing you can do is trying a different cdr plugin.

i have a combo drive too but i don't experience that problem but whenever i play some ps games on epsxe using your peops cdr 1.4 plugin, during 3Ds or mdec it reads _very_ _slowly_....., even though my drive specs are fine enough....

try a different plugin.
