Hi. I am using epsxe 1.5.2 for playin g crono cross. I configured everything almost perfectly but i have extreme performance loss in battles. this is not good . Somebody knows how to fix it?

Well, Chrono Cross is really a problematic game when talkin'bout emulation. It always have a lil' prob. here or there, but generally nuthin' dat can't be solved (almost) easily.
First of all, since you've already passed the "dream" at the beginning of game, I'd recomend you to now use your epsxe 1.6.0, just set his memcard to be the same as 1.5.2, I'm sure you can do this.
Now, try to "equilibrate" your graphics settings, not to put something too heavy, for makin'it too slow, but yet not so weak; something just fine. Yeah dude, when talkin'bout emulation at general, not always it can be 'perfect'.
For exemple, try putting an R8, Texture flitering 5, Hires texture none, and the other four 3 2 2 3, or 3 1 2 4.
In the case you still experience difficulties in battle, just click on "fast" default setting (dooooooown there) and change hires texture to 2xSal.

I think you could try to lower the framebuffer upload and effects settings of your plugin (assuming you use the OGL2 plugin). If you use shaders, well, there is a certain performance decrease in battles (here and there). Enabling frameskipping (or overclocking your gfx card ) might help in this situation.
