Why dosent the P.E.Op.S. CDR Driver 1.4 read any drives on my computer. I choose the XP scsi settings then it says "choose drive" and there are no drives in the list?

the plugin tries all drive letters from "C:" to "Z:", and asks the operating system, if the drive is a DVD/CD-rom drive. If the OS says "yes", the plugin tries to access the drive. If that is also possible, the letter will be put in the list.

Therefore, either the OS doesn't tell the drive type, or the plugin cannot access the drive. But why that is happening: dunno

g'day pete, i have a bug to report on the cdr plugin it just sits there loading when subchannel is enabled and never seems to load

epsxe,s built in cd plugin works fine,

your plugin works when its reading the ripped subchannel data from a ppf file

just wanna know if any plans to release an updated plugin which allos read ahead settings to be used along with subchannel settings as i think this is the core of the problem


Also mate, i might get a forum back off a mate and if its ok i'll set that up as an english versioin of the forum coz its kinda hard navigating round a forum in german :P

this is the site, im adding a Emulation section and wanna know if you want your own section for people to ask questions as alot more people who speak english also use your plugins and find it hard to get help via a message board thats in german :P

problem is that there are different commands used for reading subchannels, and the drive vendors are not telling this commands to simple coders like me (who not want to sign a NDA).
So I only can support subchannels on certain drives, if yours doesn't work: bad luck, sorry.

sorry, this free boards are hosted by a german server, and I can only translate certain texts, others are not changeable.

Anyway, looking at the activity in this "engrish" boards, many (non-german) users seems to be able to post a message... I see it as a simple IQ test, harharhar.
