Tim Susa - Desire & Regress EP - Broque

Un altro notturno nella selezione di questa settimana, un disco che si apre all’insegna di un’oscura introspezione e la voce della coscienza ridotta a flebile melodia, questa è I wish.
Anche The spiral si presta bene per viaggi alla ricerca del proprio io anche se come per waste of time si tratta più che altro di un percorso fisico fatto di sudore e fumo sul dancefloor seguendo la nuova mappa del genere prog house.
I remix sono di Stefan Tretau e Juno 6 mettono l’accento sugli elementi ipnotici: la ritmica ed il noise di fondo, riempiendo il vuoto lasciato dalla melodia con echi e riverberi.

Another quality release from Munich netlabel Broque. This one comes to us from Tim Susa, who absolutely killed it with this one. Nothing holding back about the originals here; techno at its best.

5) Tim Susa - ‘Desire & Regrees EP’ - (BROQUE)
Hailing from Germany and making music since the mid-90’s, Tim’s sound is influenced by the likes of
DAF, The Cure and Kraftwerk. You could probably class this as minimal, but after several listens you
start to realize there’s actually tonnes in here and minimal is probably the last thing it is. The main
track ‘I Wish’ is certainly the one to check – a creepy synth number that strangely reminds you of going
down a staircase backwards. M6/M8 -

Mensch broque kommt schon mit dem 52′gsten daher und ich konnte erfahren das Tim Susa auch aus meiner lovely Hometown Weimar stammt. Dieses Release kommt musikalisch sicherlich nicht an die besten Releases von brouqe heran.Aber Straight Minimal kommt es für meinen Geschmack an und auf die Ohren. Was hier geliefert wird ist funktionaler Clubsound der einwenig individuallität vermissen läßt. Das Master aus dem House Broque allerdings ist wiedermal aller Ehren wert. Die Herren Tretau und Juno6 spielen Ihre ganze technoide Erfahrung aus und versilbern das ganze. Wollgemerkt versilbern nicht vergolden . Und dann hab ich wiedermal was zu mekern : los Broque macht endlich mal eure Cover in die ID3 Tags mit rein . Aber dankeschöne trotzdem für eine Runde Sache.
