Die Top3 vom 28.01.-03.02.

Passend zur Berlinale haben es diese Woche drei Releases auf die Top-Platzierungen geschafft, die vor allem auf das große Gefühlskino setzen. Allerdings beackern sie dabei denkbar differente Felder.

Während sich "SQware" um die kybernetische Form der Gefühligkeit, also um virtuelle Leidenschaften bemühen (an dieser Stelle sei schnell mal auf Donna Haraway's "A Cyborg Manifesto" verwiesen), entwirft "iambic²" die klassische, aber sehr verspielte Innenperspektive des Pop-Songs: Ich, ich und nochmals ich. Der japanische Sieger "Ryonkt" geht dagegen den Weg zurück zur Natur. Romantisch!

Hier also die verzückende Top3 der Woche vom 28.01.-03.02.:

1. Ryonkt - The World That Was Sorrounded By A Deep Forest And Warm Light (Resting Bell) Average Rate: 4.63

Die im Titel erwähnte Welt, die sich zwischen einem tiefem Wald und einem warmen Licht erstreckt, wird auf Ryonkts aka Ryo Nakatas Reise eher zu einem Weg, der sich zwischen eben diesen beiden Naturelementen hindurch schlängelt. Links und rechts zirpt und rauscht es und alles erinnert an die märchenhafte Naturerfahrung der Kinderzeit.

Damit bewegt sich "The World That…" im fast schon japanischsten aller Musikgenres, nämlich Ambient und schließt sich Entwürfen von "Opitope" und Konsorten an. Becircendes Release mit viel, viel Ruhe.

Hi Guys your sound is great and has really good quality. Also As an ep it worked very well!!! I would say my favorite track is: Another test song, but they are all great.

supporter for years, i've noticed their skills improvement.
"practise makes perfect", you're dam right uncle sam.

this ep is interesting, there are different good tracks with different architectures and moods.
my fav is "will paul like it?", great harmonies on it, love the broken beat during the break, a little old skool touch, and great production.
this one won't quit my final scratch playlist for a long time !!!

Great work !

Since 1st feb. I listen to this ep almost every morning on my way to work. This is a perfect soundtrack for train travels in the winter.

And Baaad Paupiette is a hit !
