From http://MyraPedia.eu

Short summary

Borgon-Dyl is the warlike land of the Children of Borgon, located at the Inner Sea and the Wide Sea of Karcanon. Member of the Union of Flowers.

Description by a proud citizen

The fertile country of the Children of Borgon, God of War and Earthen Strength, is located on the Peristeran coast of the continent Karcanon. In contrast to some other followers of Borgon, the dark-skinned Borgon-Dun have developed -at least in their numerous cities- an advanced culture, which is less war-like than one would expect from those who have the name of Borgon in the name of their people as well as their land. Nevertheless, there is no denying that the status of warrior is highly respected throughout the country, and their count may almost rival the military strength of the former Empire of Bakanasan (Editors note: this text was obviously written by a very proud Borgon-Dun. In fact, Borgon-Dyl's military strength is nowhere near even the remnant of the former Bakanasan Empire; but compared with lesser lands, i.e. every other country besides Bakanasan, it is indeed formidable). What one would least expect in a country with high esteem for warriors is the fact that inheritance follows the female line. Indeed, most cities and castles are under the rule of women, with the notable exception of the Phialaean province Bakan-Dyl, a territory which formerly belonged to the Empire of Bakanasan and shares culture and traditions with the fair-skinned folk of the Bagundan Confederacy (which is mostly also former territory of Bakanasan). The ruler of Borgon-Dyl is the Deye, which may roughly be considered as equivalent of a Queen. The current Deye is Shayol the Black, herself a proud warrior and priestess of Borgon. The Capital city of Borgon-Dyl is Organ-Dyl (which roughly translates as "Middle of the Land").

May Borgon's Fist shatter His enemies!

New? I don't think so. Oh yes, there was something about the Great Plains. And maybe some or other edit in existing articles with English description/summary. In any case there is a lot of English articles about items concerning Borgon-Dyl. I will try to post them here piece by piece as I have the time for that. And it is Borgon-Dyl, with a dash between Borgon and Dyl!

Provinces

Torgan-Dyl, the largest of Borgon-Dyl's provinces, is the core of the Realm. Except for the Phialae, where Torgan-Dyl is bordered by the province Bakan-Dyl, it is surrounded by the sea. The core province contains more than half of the Realm's cities, including the Capital city of Organ-Dyl. Most part of Torgan-Dyl is fertile plains, except for the large Borgomyl Forest in the Diktyon. The inhabitants of Torgan-Dyl are mostly pure-blood Borgon-Dun ("Children of Borgon"), whose skin is as dark as night.

Machairan-Dyl - province of Borgon-Dyl on Karcanon, ruled by Kijara n'Meerym. The province capital is Morabyl on the peninsula Varodar. Apart from the latter, the highlands of Sheroanide and the fertile lands along the Seelydon river belong to the province. Large parts of Machairan-Dyl, including Varodar and the Monak Plains in the Peristera of the highlands, have been disputed between Borgon-Dyl and the neighbors in the Machairas (today's realm Ataris) for centuries.

Bakan-Dyl - Province of Borgon-Dyl along the Conramat river, formerly under control of Bakanasan called Atarestor. The inhabitants of Bakan-Dyl, in their majority, belong to the fair-skinned Bakani (Conrianer), most of whom worship Chnum, the God of Fertility.

Karan-Dyl - Newest province of Borgon-Dyl in the Great Plains, formerly under control (well, belonging to - the control having long been lost to demons) of Aerinn. The inhabitants are mainly nomadic Wagon People.

Ferdyon is a semi-autonomic province of Borgon-Dyl on Karcanon. The territory of the province consists solely of the small (ca. 600 miles circumference) island Orgareena in the Gulf of Myrna. Since the Liberation of the Realm from the tyranny of the Haengstyr, Ferdyon formally belonged to Borgon-Dyl. In practice, however, control over the island was scarce at best. Even after the reconquest of the peninsula Varodar bordering the gulf on the Machairas side, Orgareena remained a notorius pirate hideout. That situation began to change after the erection of the Great Temple of Norytton in the Diktyon of the island. Nowadays, Ferdyon draws a lot of pilgrims, and besides, is famous for excellent wine. The castle of Bylreen serves as the administrative centre of the province, which is ruled by Lodytha n’Meerym.
