AC/DC haben es mit ihrem neuen Album BLACK ICE geschafft, in 29 Ländern auf Platz 1 der Albumcharts zu landen. Wir sind doch ein Land der Rocker, und nicht der, Gangsterrapper.

After seven-year hiatus, group wows crowd as it opens ‘Black Ice’ tour at arena.

As a giant train went off the tracks and crashed through the video screen, AC/DC kicked off its “Black Ice” world tour in Wilkes-Barre Township on Tuesday night with a sold-out performance at the Wachovia Arena at Casey Plaza.

In the opening show on its first tour in seven years, the Australian band took the stage with a blistering version of its latest single, “Rock ’N’ Roll Train.”
ever the next hour and a half, guitarists Angus and Malcolm Young, vocalist Brian Johnson, bassist Cliff Williams and drummer Phil Rudd -- the same lineup that produced 1980’s 22-million selling powerhouse “Back In Black” -- followed with three more new songs and 13 classics.
And the capacity crowd loved every minute of it.
Alternating classics and new songs to good effect, the 2003 inductees of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame shook off the rust as they opened the tour in support of “Black Ice,” the album released Oct. 20 that is so far only available at Wal-Mart, Sam’s Club and www.acdc.com. The band huddled around the drum riser after nearly every song, seemingly choosing the set list on the spot.
Early highlights included “Hell Ain’t a Bad Place To Be” from 1977’s “Let There Be Rock” and a powerful performance of the title track from “Back In Black,” the group’s first album after the death of lead singer Bon Scott.
They then played “Big Jack,” another anthem in waiting from the new album, and a sing-along rendition of the classic “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap.”
About 45 minutes into the show, manic guitarist Angus Young first shed his guitar and then went on to strip out of his trademark schoolboy outfit, flashing the audience with his black AC/DC underpants.
After “The Jack” from 1976’s “High Voltage” album, which delivered the first of the evening’s stellar guitar solos from Angus Young, a large bell descended from the rafters, signaling the start of “Hells Bells.”
“How you doing out there, is it getting warmer?” Johnson asked before the next number. “This is a new one off the album; sing along with us if you can.”
Many in the audience obliged by singing along with the only nine-day-old track, “War Machine.”
Two songs later, the band launched into perhaps its best-known number, “You Shook Me All Night Long,” which turned out to be just the first in a string of timeless tunes. Next up was a ripping version of “T.N.T.” then a raunchy-as-ever rendition of “Whole Lotta Rosie.” The band had to make do with a picture of Rosie on the giant screen as the inflatable version suffered burns during Monday’s final dress rehearsal.
The main set ended with a monstrous version of “Let There Be Rock” as a montage of the group’s album covers paraded across the video screen and Angus Young unleashed an amazing solo while perched high above the audience on a small, round stage.
For the encore, Angus Young then rose up from beneath the stage with power chords a-blazing as the band kicked into “Highway To Hell.” The final number, “For Those About To Rock (We Salute You),” featured six cannons, and the show literally ended with a bang.
About the only negative thing you could say about Tuesday’s show was that it was too short. If this is what AC/DC sounds like on opening night after a seven-year layoff, later dates on the tour are going to be amazing.

Noch immer ist es ungewiss ob AC/DC überhaupt in Wien ein Konzert spielen.
Ein elendiger Sauhaufen ist das!

Lese wohl nicht richtig, laut Setliste geben sie nur 13 Songs zum besten.
Wie lange dauert das Konzert, 60 Minuten nur?

Man weiß noch immer nicht, wann die Jungs nach Wien kommen.
